Getting Started

  • To create an account, follow these steps:

    1. Select “sign up” and enter your email, create a password and agree to the Term and conditions.

    2. Complete a short questionnaire with your basic information,

    3. Verify your identity with our trusted partner,

    4. Connect your bank account

  • Our platform is a fiduciary so we are legally required to look out for your best interests.

    Your security and safety is very important to us, which is why we have taken additional measures to ensure security, including never selling your information.

  • To sign onto the platform, it takes less than a minute to create a login by entering your email address and create a password.

    Once you create an account, you will answer a series of questions to help us learn about you and your personal goals.

Your Account

  • Select ‘My Account’ and then choose the fields you would like to update.

    If you need to request a name change, please contact us at Help@GrowSparrow.com.

  • Select ‘My Account’ then ‘My Bank Connections.’ Select ‘Add Bank’ then complete the process through our trusted bank partner.

    If you need to change your bank, select ‘Edit Bank Connection’ then complete the process through our trusted bank partner.

  • Our trusted verification partner makes it easy to verify your identity in less than one minute.

    As you are setting up your account, you will receive a prompt to verify your identification. Follow the directions displayed. Once the verification process is complete, you will be redirected back into Sparrow account set up process.

  • In order to close your account, first you will need to close all of your Funds.

    Next, send an email to Help@GrowSparrow.com and include your name, email address associated with your account. Our team will in touch with you within 48 hours to begin the process of closing your account.

Our Products

Buy Bitcoin

  • Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency that you can buy and sell directly on our platform.

  • From the ‘My Purse’ screen, select ‘Buy Bitcoin’ which will take you to the screen to purchase. Select the amount you’d like to purchase, choose the bank to fund, then confirm the frequency.

Funds

  • From the ‘My Purse’ screen, select ‘Create a Fund’. First, name your fund something that will help you easily identify your account. Then select ‘Create My Fund’.

    Once your fund is created, you can add bitcoin by selecting the amount, choosing your bank, choosing the frequency, then confirm your information.

  • There are two ways that you can add bitcoin your fund: In Fund Details, select ‘Add Bitcoin to Fund’ then follow the steps to add bitcoin into the fund.

    You can also select ‘Buy Bitcoin’ and in the destination, you can select the fund you would like to add bitcoin to.

  • You can create a fund as a beneficiary for a minor.

    At this time, you cannot add a minor to your accounts or fund so they do not have.

Gifts

  • From the ‘My Purse’ page, select ‘Give Crypto’.

    Add the recipient’s name and email address and select the Occasion.

    From there, you can select how much money in dollars you’d like to send.

  • The recipient has 10 days to redeem their gift.

  • If the gift is not redeemed within 10 days, the money will be sent back to the sender.

  • Yes. You will receive an email notification that your gift has been redeemed.

  • Your gift will automatically be uploaded into your change purse. You will then need to complete the ‘Buy Bitcoin’ process in order to convert USD to bitcoin.

Security & Verification

  • For optimal security and tax purposes, we require all of our investors to verify their identity with our trusted verification vendor. By verifying your identity, it prevents identity fraud, ensuring safe investing for all of our users.

  • Government issued IDs, such as a passport or a driver’s license, are accepted on the platform. Our trusted verification provider uses automated document verification to detect fake and tampered IDs.

  • If you think your account was compromised, please contact us immediately at Security@GrowSparrow.com. A representative will be in contact with you within 24 hours.

General

  • You will receive a monthly statement from billing@GrowSparrow.com that will include the monthly transaction history.

Legal

  • Yes, Sparrow is registered as a Money Services Business through FinCEN.

    Sparrow is required to comply with many financial services and consumer protection laws, including:

    The Bank Secrecy Act, which requires Sparrow to verify customer identities, maintain records of currency transactions for up to 5 years, and report certain transactions;

    The USA Patriot Act, which requires Sparrow to designate a compliance officer to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, create procedures and controls to ensure compliance, conduct training, and periodically review the compliance program

    Most states’ money transmission laws and corresponding regulations.

  • At the end of every year, you will be prompoted to complete a 1099 tax form.

    Sparrow will provide the proper tax statements for every user.
